Cozy afternoons in Bloom
Where do you go for great coffee and a comfy sofa? This is one our favourite hiding places when it rains... Bloom serves great coffee and some delicious homemade meals and pastries. I think it might even have the largest selection of ‘Tea Pigs’ teas.
First of all, be warned that the parking is a bit of a nightmare. So don’t expect to park right outside, alternatively, get the bus, it’s far more convenient. Located on a corner on Rue Adolphe Fischer, this cute coffee shop is just what the doctor ordered. You can curl up on the sofa in the back room with one of their homemade soups (our favourite is their Thai butternut squash and coconut milk one) or sit by the window and people watch as you tuck into one of the most delicious ‘pastel de nata’ egg tarts.
It’s a particular hotspot for bloggers and freelancers as their wi-fi is always stable and if you sit down to work in the morning you won’t notice the time passing, until one of the owners brings out the fragrant, piping hot quiche of the day.
It’s been a long time coming, a coffee shop like this one in Luxembourg. It’s quirky, friendly and there’s no pressure to eat and get out...
we only wish that there were more places like this!
