It often comes up as a popular Italian and has been a household name for family friendly restaurants for years now, and for good reason too. Comme a la Maison is part of the Robin du Lac concept store which is also the home of Knoppes coffee and furniture store as well as hair salon.  The Italian restaurant itself has been arguably the most successful of all the concepts and maintains a decent reputation as an authentic Italian. As Sunday brunches become increasingly popular in Luxembourg (Yay!) they've taken the buffet brunch to a whole new level.  I must admit, I'm such a sucker for a buffet brunch, even just seeing all the food options gets me excited so think quantity and variety of quality but keep scrolling to find out how your Sundays are now forever changed!

Consisting of 5 different food stations, there's something for everyone and the special children's price means this brunch is really popular with families too. Adults pay €49 (includes a glass of Prosecco) whilst children between the ages of 3-12 will be charged €22. Choose from the seafood station where you have fresh cold seafood displayed on ice, a cheese and cold cuts selection, live cooking stations consisting of pasta and other freshly cooked Italian dishes, a cooked meat section  to the large assortment of desserts.

My favourite was the room at the back called "Comme a la Montagne" where the raclette was being served. The room is also chalet themed whilst the "Comme a la mer" area feels like you're under the sea.  Each room more or less matches the theme of the food and it's refreshing to see so much creativity and effort go into a Sunday brunch. While the price-tag sounds steep at first, once you sit down and see all the options, it's a great way to spend Sunday afternoon with friends. More of a place for a group than a quick lunch, I look forward to the next Sunday spent here with good company!
